Before joining GP Investments, Paulo was an Executive Vice President of Business Strategy, Wholesale and Regulatory at Oi S.A (2009-2012), the largest telecommunications company in Brazil at that time. While at Oi he worked in the execution of the company’s turnaround and he served on the Executive Committee, Financial Risk Committee and Operations Committee. Paulo also worked at the Brazilian Development Bank, BNDES, as a Superintendent-Director, in addition to being a member of the Credit & Investment Committee and Head of the Managerial Committee (2007-2009).
Currently, Paulo is the Chairman of Iguá Saneamento S.A., one of the main private water and sanitation companies in Brazil.
Paulo is also a venture capitalist through Capital Lab, a seed and venture proprietary capital investment platform focused on telecommunications, media and technology in emerging markets.
Paulo holds a J.D. and a Ph.D. in Law from University of São Paulo, was Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Yale University, and is a permanent member of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning – CEBRAP and member of Getulio Vargas Foundation, leading think tanks specialized in public policy and business administration.

Prior to joining RK Partners he was a Deputy Director at GP Investments, where he was responsible for infrastructure and telecommunication investments in Brazil (2012-2016). He was also part of the initial team from GP Investments at BR Towers, responsible to structure and execute the 100-day plan with the C-Level.
Previously he was a Senior Consultant at Bain and Company in São Paulo, conducting strategy projects for multinationals from different industries/sectors – Financial Services, Credit and Debit Card, Insurance, Airlines and Oil & Gas. At this position, he led projects in Brazil, Chile and Africa from 2010-2012.
Mr. Buffara was a Strategy, M&A and Regulatory Executive at Telefonica, where he worked from 2004 to 2010. He also served temporarily as Competitive Intelligence Strategist, as part of the staff to the Global COO in Spain (2008 – 2009) covering the Latin America and UK/Germany markets.
He has a Master in Business Administration from IMD in Switzerland, and is graduated in Public Administration by EAESP-Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

Before joining GP Investments, Felipe was part of the Latin America Equity Capital Markets division of J.P. Morgan in Brazil and NY. Prior to that, he was part of the Investment Banking team of Banco Modal, where he participated in M&A and capital market deals in the infrastructure, consumer, real estate, retail, financial institutions and construction sectors, among others.

Carolina is a Brazilian lawyer focused on corporate and infrastructure projects and other financial transactions. She has participated in a number of capital market transactions including IPOs and the establishment of MTN Programs and the issuance of debt securities in both the Reg. S and 144 A markets. She has experience representing large Brazilian corporations and major financial institutions, mostly in Latin America and is highly skilled in multi-cultural situations with international professional experience in Brazil, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands and China.

Previously, he was the CEO of URBPLAN (2014-2017), a real estate development company which was distressed where spearheaded its turnaround. Before URBPLAN, he served as the CEO of San Antonio International (2010-2013), an oil and gas services company which was also distressed when he joined. Additionally, in 2009 he was the CEO of Santelisa Vale, an ethanol, sugar and bioenergy company. Andre was the CEO on Parmalat Brasil (2008-2009), the Brazilian arm of an Italian dairy and food corporation, which is where he began his professional experience in special situations. In all of these companies, with the exception of Santelisa Vale, Andre was appointed by the respective private equity firm that was the controlling shareholder.
Prior to special situations, Andre served as the CEO of Telemig Celular (2006-2008), which was subsequently acquired by Telefonica and as General Director at Vivo (2002-2006). Andre was also an Associated Principal at McKinsey & Company (1996-2002).

Before CAB Ambiental, Otavio was the CEO of Dreen Brasil Investimentos (2008-2014), a renewable energy company, in which Otavio was involved since its creation. The company developed greenfield wind and hydro projects participating in successful auctions for the sale of energy to the grid and also, during that period, was designated as Chairman of Abeeólica, the Brazilian Wind Association. Previously, Otavio was a Director of Planning at Intervias (1999-2004), a highway concession company in São Paulo.
